Treatment
Healing Works offers individual and family psychotherapy for issues including trauma, addiction, divorce, grief, family dysfunction, depression, anxiety and loneliness. We often refer our clients to groups and other services with other providers. Your healing and growth is our priority.
With Children: We believe in the healing power of expressive therapies. Play heals! We like parents to be in the room whenever possible as our partners in their child’s healing process. Divorced parents will be invited to come together. Your child needs to know that you are still his/her family.
With Teens: We invite parents in at the beginning and end of every session. Teens who are 14 and older have full confidentiality but we negotiate on what we are willing to share. Teens love their privacy but they need your love, support and guidance to heal. We individualize treatment to find what modality your teen likes. We draw on strengths to heal wounds.
With Adults: Therapy is a journey that we take together. Often, we need to go back to the past to uncover/recover the authentic you that got lost or stuck. We deal with the inner child and family of origin issues, as well as what’s happening now. Additional help may be needed and we partner with other excellent programs, groups and workshops to cover all the bases.
Interventions:
For families looking to help a loved one seek treatment for their substance use or problem behavior, we offer a 2-Day Family Transformational Intervention that is non-shaming for the entire family. Our goal is long term recovery and joy for everyone. We partner with many amazing treatment centers and rehabs.
Healing Works does not believe in harm reduction except for pregnant women. We accept the Disease concept of addiction and prefer programs which have a 12-Step component.

Charges:
Our Costs: Healing Works does not accept insurance, however we keep our costs low.
Our hourly rate for individual and family therapy is $90, regardless of how many people are in the session.
One-day Retreats are usually $120.
Our Interventions start at $4,000 for a 2-day family Transformational Intervention.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 7 PM
closed Saturday and Sunday, except for special events.
